USN Mark I Fighting Knife by Pal. Very nice example knife that was gently used. This example shows only minor wear and no sign of any abuse. The stacked leather handle is very nice with no signs of pulling apart or other issues. The parkerized blade is very nice having retained of its gray finish. The blade has been sharpened but only very lightly with no abrasion coming up into the body only the edge. The blade is also marked U.S.N. MARK I RH PAL 35 MADE IN U.S.A. The aluminum butt is a darker gray and shows a light oxidation area where it was pinned. The gray plastic scabbard is excellent showing only minor storage wear around the canvas rivets. Steve also carved his name into the back of the scabbard but only lightly. This is a great knife from a very desirable maker.
