Kriegsmarine Transport Fleet Speer Visor Cap Cockade. This exact example can be found in on page 105 Volume 3 of Kriegsmarine Uniforms and Traditions by John R. Angolia and Adolf Schlicht. Created to transport civilian and military supply goods of the Navy. The Visor cap was of the same design as that of the navy officers but with a black leather visor and an aluminum cord of the pattern for Navy officials. This example has a beautiful silver frosted wreath and both attachment prongs remaining on the back. Great piece that's in the book!!! RARE!!!
