Issued pre 1945 by the military to soldiers serving in that theater. The pocket guides were designed to teach the soldier the history, customs and some of the language of the peoples. They are full of information on what to and what not to do in these areas. Lots of illustrations and some have little comics here and there. The one common theme in all of the books is the desire to destroy the invading enemy!! Great reading and in fine condition!!
