Early example with bone handles and the bail. The handles are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The metal fittings are darkend a bit as is the blade. The strong spring functions perfectly and snaps quickly into place. The safety lock below the push button also functions properly. The blade shows only minor wear with two very small nicks along the front edge. The blade is marked SCHRADE CUT.CO WALDEN N.Y. on one side and U.S. PATS DEC 21.09 SEPT 13.10 JUNE 6.16 The edge has been sharpened nicely not scratching up the blade. This is solid example and in really nice condition.
