Hitler Youth Knife made by G. Grafrath. This is a really fine example that shows very minor wear. RZM example with plated zinc fittings that show some finish loss around the leather strap area. The end of the finger guard shows some finish loss otherwise all the other ares are still bright. The black checkered grips remain excellent with no cracks or missing areas. The large enamel HJ diamond has excellent enamel and "Floats" within the grip. The blade shows minor pitting along the edge and the usual runner marks, This blade shows a very light sharpened edge that may have been factory done. Maker stamped RZM M7/30 with the die flaw in the / between 7 and 30. Large, thick leather washer remains solid. The sheetmetal scabbard remains dent free and shows some honest finish loss to the front. The backside has a more complete painted finish with much of the gloss remaining. The leather hanging strap remains pliable and sturdy. Very solid RZM pattern example!!
